Preserving Our Histories of World War II
(POH_0910)
As the 21st century progresses, the number of eyewitnesses to the history of WWII is dwindling and the relevance of these untold stories remains unknown to today’s students. In this innovative program you will act like historians and amateur documentary filmmakers, discovering the relevance of history by documenting the lives of community and family members of the WWII generation. You will show your understanding of this period, by publishing media and writing on a project website.
Your finished work will be presented at the Connecticut Student Film Festival (CTSFF) and Connecticut Student Innovation EXPO in May.
